Information you enter
You may enter business details, customer contact information, service addresses, asset information, readings, notes, prices and payment terms. You may also select photos, draw signatures and add a business logo.
Where information is processed
The current report maker processes this information locally in your browser. Text drafts and the reusable business profile use browser storage. Saved job history, including report images and signatures, uses the browser's IndexedDB storage.
Uploads and accounts
This free version has no ServiceProof account system and does not intentionally upload report contents to a ServiceProof database. Standard hosting providers may still receive ordinary technical request data—such as IP address, browser type and requested page—when they deliver the website.
Backups and sharing
When you export a backup, your browser downloads a JSON file containing the saved profile, draft and jobs. Anyone with that file may be able to read its contents. Store and share it carefully. PDFs and shared summaries leave ServiceProof only when you choose to save or share them through your device.
Deleting local data
Delete individual saved jobs from Job History. Clearing site data in browser settings can remove the local profile, draft, cached app files and IndexedDB history. Export a backup first if you need to retain records.
Customer responsibilities
Before recording personal data, photographs or signatures, obtain any consent required by your agreements and local law. Avoid including passwords, access codes, unnecessary identity documents, payment-card details or unrelated private information.
